Steven and Lisa Visconti discovered The Lodge for Pampered Pets as customers, frequently boarding their three dogs, Marco, Polo, and Sprocket at the kennel. They were so impressed with the facility and the quality of care their pets received at The Lodge that they bought the business in 2015.

For five years the Lodge continued to provide premium pet daycare and boarding under their ownership, but by 2020 the Lodge had outgrown its original location. To meet the increased demand and offer a better experience to their two and four-legged clients, Steve and Lisa closed the original Lodge and made plans to build a new facility on Lapeer Road in Metamora.

Their goal is to offer a modern facility that retains the rustic charm and high level of service they fell in love with at the original kennel but provide modern amenities in a more convenient location. Steve and Lisa can’t wait to welcome you and your pets into their new home away from home, and hope that the new, improved Lodge for Pampered Pets will serve their guests’ needs in a happy, playful, clean, and safe environment for many years to come.
